Launch of the Northern Public Law Forum

We are delighted to announce that the Northern Public Law Forum has been established. The NPLF was  established to provide an annual venue for scholars in the north of England to meet up. Each year the venue rotates. The first Forum will be held in 2018 at the University of Sheffield, followed by the University of Liverpool (2019), and the University of York (2020). Each seminar, taking place on a single afternoon, celebrates the work of a leading scholar (or scholars) of public law, and involves two papers being presented by that scholar (or scholars).

The Forum is managed by an Organising Committee, chaired by Professor Graham Gee and Dr Joe Tomlinson (University of Sheffield). The other member of the committee are Dr Adam Tucker (Liverpool), Dr Mike Gordon (Liverpool), Dr Se-Shauna Wheatle (University of Durham), and Dr Lawrence McNamara (York).

We are currently in the process of arranging the first Forum, for early 2018 at the University of Sheffield. Please follow this website (via the home page), or check back regularly, for more updates on that event.

We look forward to seeing you at the Forum!
